So, the song first heard in the Glee of course. I liked the tune and such. I just didn't realize the title is "Don't Stop Believing". Frankly speaking, I don't really understand why the song is given that title other than because they repeat it a lot near the ending. Maybe I don't understand the song well enough. Anyway, I picked this song because it is nice to hear, I like the tune and the title kinda inspires me to not give up. So, after the jump~
LYRIC
Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world(I'm lonely too, but I ain't a girl)
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere(And I won't dare take the midnight train)
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
(I'd never dare go just anywhere, I need to go somewhere)
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night(smile - something I'm poor at)
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
(Sorry, Madam, I forgot how to pronounce boulevard again)
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people, living just to find emotion
(Emotionless? I'm a failed emotionless product)
Hiding, somewhere in the night.
Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time(Ya, I'd really like to roll the dice again and again)
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues(Am I born to sing the blues?)
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night.
Don't stop believin'(I hope I can keep on believing)
Hold on to the feelin'(the... feel...ing....)
Streetlights people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on the feelin'
Streetlight people
Don't stop
