If you'd merely wish upon a star

If you'd merely wish upon a star;
With a heart as pure as gold;
If you'd merely pray before you sleep;
With hopes piled up into hills;
If you'd merely think far beyond the mountain;
With the hope they will come true;
If you'd merely dream of all the wonders;
With thoughts that they are real;
Sorry I'd say for I really pity you;
Years in life and yet you haven't lived~

Heed my word right now;
And do as what I say;
For all the wishes you made;
And all the hopes you piled;
For all the thoughts you had;
And all the dreams you create;
They were nothing except illusions;
And must thus be left aside;
Continue on your life now;
And start fresh anew~

Walk your life the path you chose;
With dignity and confidence too;
Do all you could and all you would;
With all your energy till the end;
Let the past remains the past;
With your head you draw your future;
Admit your faults and all mistakes;
With the heart to forgive and forget;
Your own faults and others' too;
With hate and vengeance out at bay~

Don't just wish;
Don't just hope;
Don't just think;
Don't just dream;
Don't let illusion blinds your eye~

Walk your life;
Do what is right;
Let go of the past;
Admit faults and forgive;
And remain far away from hatred~
